The General Secretariat of the League of Arab States-the economic sector-(the administration of Arab organizations and federations), organizes a virtual seminar through Zoom application on " The Effects & Repercussions of the Corona Crisis on the Labor Market and the Escalation of Unemployment Rates & Poverty in the Arab Region ", on June 24th, at eleven o'clock at noon - Cairo time.

The Secretariat will collaborate in organizing this Webinar, with the Arab Labor Organization, the Arab Organization for Administrative Development, the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, the Federation of Arab Experts, the International Labor Organization, the International Federation of Arab Trade Unions, and the Federation of Arab Women Leaders.

The Arab Labor Organization, as the Arab organization specialized in labor issues and protecting the Arab workforce will present a working paper entitled "The Repercussions of the Corona Crisis on the Labor Market and Activating Social Protection Programs to Fight Poverty and Reduce Unemployment."
