The Arab Union for Industrial Exports Development- AUIED and the Algerian General Company for Exhibitions and Exports are organizing the Arab International SMEs Conference & Expo (SMEX ALGERIA 2021) under the slogan “The Fourth Industrial Revolution: Challenges and Opportunities for SMEs” during the period from 4-6 December 2021 at the Exhibition Palace in Algeria, under the auspices of the League of Arab States and the Algerian government, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Trade, the Algerian Ministry of Small and Medium Industries, the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Algerian Stock Exchange for Subcontracting and Partnership, and the Algerian Agency for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises.
Entrepreneurs, owners of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), economists and investment experts and policy makers from all countries around the world will participate in the conference to review their experiences and success stories, highlighting the needs of small projects around the world and ways to meet those needs. It also calls for the participation of Arab small and medium enterprise development agencies, and Arab, African and international trade development agencies, with the aim of creating communication between an elite group of Algerian and Arab entrepreneurs from key sectors with their international counterparts.
The conference is an excellent platform for exchanging experiences, capabilities and global best practices. It also provides a wide opportunity to establish new contacts, business and advisory links. The conference also helps in achieving inclusive and sustainable industrialization by encouraging small and medium enterprises to enhance their initiatives and integrate them into the 2030 Agenda to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) developed by the United Nations.
