UAE is Regionally the 1st in the Global Competitiveness Index

The UAE ranked first in the Global Competitiveness Center for the first time in the world's most competitive countries, ranking first in the region and seventh in the world for the first time over ranking countries such as Sweden, Norway and Canada. "The march of accelerating development and the competitiveness is only increasing our insistence to have a ranking in the top positions," said Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. "We will continue to compete in the competitive race and we will not accept other than being the first place in the world in all fields considering that the experience of Emirates is Arab was ranked first in the world and that it represents an experiment of determination and open success to the Arab nation," stressing "the continuation of our environment, our structure and our resources, because we want the best life in the world for our people and for all the residents on the land of the Emirates.” The UAE ranked first in various indicators, including the efficiency of the implementation of government decisions, public-private partnerships, the employment rate of the total population, the availability of international expertise and talent, and it also ranked second in the world of business efficiency, third in Economic diversity and efficiency in city management, and fourth in the world in energy infrastructure and application of modern technologies.
