Qatar Central Bank's Assets Rise 1.95 percent

Qatar Central Bank's reserve assets rose in October 2018 by 1.95 percent on a monthly basis.
According to the data from Qatar Central Bank, international reserves and foreign currency liquidity rose to 172.48 billion QAR ($ 47.6 billion) last month. Foreign reserves in Qatar registered 169.17 billion QAR ($ 46.7 billion) in September.
On a year-on-year basis, Qatar's reserves increased by 31.2%, compared to QAR 131.4bn ($ 36.3bn) in October 2017. The reserves included $ 19.2 billion as liquid assets in foreign currency and $ 14.6 billion in foreign banks. While gold stocks reached $ 1.2 billion, in addition to the treasury bonds at $ 11.9 billion.
