Discussions Between the Federation of Libyan Chambers & the Council of Saudi Chambers

A Libyan trade delegation headed by Mr. Mohamad Al Raiid, the Chairman of the Libyan General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture visited the Saudis to invest in the fields of airports, roads construction, mining, infrastructure, and the export of materials and commodities, especially the building materials for the reconstruction projects.

In this context, Dr. Sami Al Obaidy, the President of the Council of Saudi Chambers, stressed the keenness of the Saudi private sector to invest in Libya and participate in the reconstruction projects in the light of the great promising investment opportunities the Libyan market.

Dr. Al Obaidy stressed the need to work together to improve the economic relations between the two countries and redouble the efforts and work to remove the obstacles, and to establish solid foundations to provide facilities and support for employers.

For his part, Mohamad Al Raiid the Chairman of the Libyan General Federation of Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, called on the Saudi businessmen and companies with their expertise and capital to benefit from the promising investment opportunities offered by Libya in the fields of infrastructure and export of materials and commodities, especially building materials for reconstruction projects.
