The Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Sameer Abdullah Nass, expressed the desire of the Bahraini private sector to strengthen the economic and trade cooperation between the two friendly countries during his meeting with Riyadh-resident South African Ambassador to Bahrain, Cosbert Rubushe.

Nass pointed to "the necessity of activating trade relations and stimulating partnerships with the brotherly and friendly countries to overcome the stage of economic stagnation that affected various countries of the world as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic," emphasizing "the role of the private sector and the business community and its representatives in revitalizing the economy by discussing new commercial and investment opportunities and creating new active partnerships."

Mr. Nass affirmed the Chamber's keenness, as a representative of the private sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain and a partner in the economic development process, to push for everything that serves the development of partnership relations between the business sectors in the two friendly countries, and to coordinate with all relevant official authorities to develop these economic relations.

For his part, Ambassador Rubushe praised the rapid development in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the prestigious position it occupies, expressing his country's aspiration to enhance economic cooperation with Bahrain, underlining the embassy’s readiness to cooperate with the Chamber to push for everything that contributes to increasing the volume of investments and trade exchanges and achieving common goals.
