The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, the President of the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Al-Mazrui, accompanied by an Emirati economic delegation, held talks in Kuwait, where he visited the headquarters of Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and met with its Chairman, Muhammad Jassim Al-Sager, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development in Abu Dhabi Rashid Al-Balushi and the Emirati Ambassador to Kuwait, Dr. Matar Al Neyadi.

Al-Sager emphasized the depth of the brotherly, commercial and economic relations between Kuwait and the UAE, pointing out that "there are basic starting points for developing aspects of economic cooperation, foremost of which is the care of the two countries' governments, which will remain an essential element in the success of inter-Gulf investments." He also considered that "the Gulf private sector must bear its developmental and integrative responsibility to be in the initiative and in the management position."

For his part, Al Mazrui stressed the keenness to strengthen the developmental partnerships, noting that "Kuwait has a wise vision in directing its foreign policies based on a long legacy of good experiences and initiatives that have been successful," explaining that "the UAE's strategy focused on 5 main sectors, namely agricultural technology, manufacturing, financial services, ICT technology, health and medical tourism, as these sectors will have a very big impact in the coming years on the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in particular, and the UAE in general.” Al Mazrui called on the Kuwaiti private sector to be a key and effective party in the development process of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in particular and the UAE in general, expressing his hope that the next few years will witness joint achievements between the two countries.
