Prime Minister of the Caretaker Government of Lebanon receives Khaled Hanafi

The Prime Minister of the caretaker government in Lebanon, Najib Mikati, received, at the Grand Serail, a joint delegation from the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, the Union of Arab Chambers and the League of Arab States, in the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs in the caretaker government, Hector Hajjar.

The delegation included Head of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Social Affairs Ministers and Minister of Social Development in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Al Mufleh, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs in Iraq Salar Abdul-Sater Muhammad, Minister of Social Solidarity in Egypt, Nevin Riad Al-Kabbaj, Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Chambers, Dr. Khaled Hanafi, Assistant Secretary-General of the League of Arab States and Head of the Social Affairs Sector Haifa Abu-Ghazaleh, Director of the Department of Development and Social Policies - Social Affairs Sector in the League of Arab States, Tariq Al-Nabulsi, The Tunisian ambassador to Lebanon, Bouarawi Al-Imam, and the Yemeni ambassador, Abdullah Abdul Karim Al-Dais.

After the meeting, Al-Mufleh said: “We were honored to meet President Najib Mikati, this delegation, which is visiting Lebanon, is to see on the ground the real and basic needs in the issue of social protection for the Lebanese people and to come up with practical recommendations to be submitted to the foreign ministers of the Arab countries who are supposed to hold a meeting at the end of this month in Lebanon, recommendations will also be submitted to the Arab Summit Conference to come up with realistic solutions on the ground for the Lebanese people.”
