Saudi Arabia's Reserve Assets Rose 3.3 percent

The reserve assets of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia rose by 3.3 percent last June, on a monthly basis, to 1.750 trillion riyals ($ 466.6 billion).

According to the monthly bulletin issued by the Saudi Central Bank, the reserve assets in the previous May amounted to 1.693 trillion riyals ($451 billion).

The value of the reserve assets recorded last June is the highest since March 2020, according to data from the Saudi Central Bank.

Saudi Arabia has benefited from high revenues from crude oil and petrochemical sales this year, with oil prices recording the highest levels since 2008, as a barrel of Brent exceeded $139. Saudi Arabia is the third largest crude oil producer in the world after the United States and Russia, with an average daily production of 10.6 million barrels per day, and the largest global exporter with an average daily production of 7 million barrels.
