Turkey's unemployment rate was nine percent in November, up 0.4 points from the previous month.
According to data from the Turkish Statistical Authority, the unemployment rate during November recorded an increase compared to October 2023. According to the data, the number of unemployed nationwide aged 15 and over increased by 115,000 people, reaching a total of 3,116,000. Males were unemployed at 7.5 percent and females at 11.8 percent. The unemployment rate among young people aged 15-24 was 16.5 percent, an increase of 0.3 points compared to the previous month. The unemployment rate in this age group was 14.2 percent for men and 20.7 percent for women.
