Tesla shares fell 2.3 percent in Wednesday's session, recording their third consecutive daily loss to close at 9-month lows.

The company lost $83 billion in market value in the last three sessions, falling from 12th globally to 14th.

The losses came after Morgan Stanley cut its price target to $320 from $345, amid concerns that demand for electric vehicles will continue to lag despite price cuts.
