Arab Economic Review Issue 52

Issue No. (52) of the Arab Economic Bulletin is issued for the fourth quarter of 2021, which includes a distinguished group of research and studies on important topics for sustainable development and Arab economic integration. It deals with the new work environment for inter-Arab trade and social entrepreneurship, as well as priorities for work to improve Arab agricultural-food systems, and to address the problems of water scarcity in Arab countries, as well as issues and challenges of enhancing the role of Arab women in development.

The first study presents the report No. (28) of the Union of Arab Chambers on the Greater Arab Free Trade Zone submitted to the Economic and Social Council of the League of Arab States entitled "The New Environment for Arab Trade in the Light of the Corona Pandemic - Implications and Extent of Adaptation to Digital Trade". The second study reviews the same topic for the United Arab Emirates under the title "Illumination of the results of the United Arab Emirates in the questionnaire of the Union of Arab Chambers on the obstacles to inter-Arab trade 2021."

The third study deals with "the appropriate ecosystem for social entrepreneurship, mechanisms for access to finance, technological connectivity, incubation systems, and accelerators." The fourth study reviews the "perceptions of the Union of Arab Chambers on the Green Middle East Initiative". The fifth study is entitled "For healthier, sustainable and equitable Arab agri-food systems - what are the priorities". The sixth study reviews "Water Scarcity in the Arab World - Indicators and Analyzes in the Light of Recent Developments", the seventh study also deals with the same topic from the angle of "Water poverty in the Arab countries - a resource crisis or mismanagement?"

The eighth study presents "A reading of the results of the World Bank Report on Women, Entrepreneurship and the Law, 2021", the ninth study also deals with the topic of global and Arab gender equality after COVID-19, "Global & Arab Gender Equality Post COVID-19".

The tenth study reviews the issue of productivity and inclusion in the Arab private sector, entitled "Productivity & Inclusiveness in the Arab World Private Sector".
