    In order to achieve the above mentioned general objectives, the Union does the following:

    • Support the government and private efforts aiming to the integration and coordination between the economies of the Arab world countries in all sectors and commercial, industrial, agricultural, financial, investment and services activities in addition to other economic sectors and activities.
    • Encouraging Arab binary trade and supporting the Greater Arab Free Trade Area (GAFTA) including the Arab common market so that goods and services could be exchanged and national persons and funds are transferred among all Arab countries without any customs or administrative restrictions.
    • Investigating the fields and opportunities of joint Arab investments, promoting them and facilitate their implementation within the Arab countries.
    • Assisting Arab governments in their aims to achieve food security and best utilization of water resources.
    • Empower all sectors of society especially the youth and women entrepreneurs to contribute positively in the development process in the Arab world, support and promote self-initiatives for entrepreneurs and support the governmental official efforts in distinguishing the unemployment and improve the standard of living of Arab citizen.
    • Work on coordinating the economic policies and legislations among the Arab countries.
    • Work on setting the Arab investments inside the Arab region and attracting foreign investments especially the ones directed to the Arab countries.
    • Protecting the Arab economy from the threats.
    • Suggesting economic policies that increase the potentials of the Arab private sector and its ability to contribute effectively to Arab development efforts, as well as on national and international levels. This happens in addition to organizing media and scientific campaigns to clarify the goals and justifications of those suggested policies and their social and economic expected impacts, and to promote them at the official and civil stakeholders hoping that they will help in the rationalization and acceleration of the economic decision.
    • Adopting the positions of the Arab private sector towards various economic policies and issues on the national, regional and international levels and towards the issues in relation which enables it to carry out its activities.
    • Striving to find a social, political and economic atmosphere in line with the various technological developments.
    •  Creating forums for an organized and renewed dialogue between the Arab private sector and the economic decision-making institutions in order to increase the impact of this sector and its role in formulating and implementing of economic reform policies.
    • Spreading the awareness regarding the importance of business and trade and their role in progression, as well as striving so that the Arab private sector can play its social role completely taking into consideration the dimensions of this role in all of its activities and events.
    • Strengthening the links with the League of Arab States and all international and regional organizations in relation with the private sector.
    • Representing the Arab private sector in international economic forums and platforms and wording its economic speech on global economic issues and international cooperation.
    • Encouraging the establishment of small and medium enterprises due to their importance in forming a broad base for the private sector and because of its role in achieving economic progression and social balance for the Arab countries and contributing to proposing the policies and legislations supporting these projects.
    • Developing the relation and cooperation between the Arab private sector and the universities and centers of scientific research.
    • Issuing bulletins, periodicals, books and economic studies that serve the objectives of the Union in addition to organizing and/or participating in events serving the same goals.
    • Supporting the establishment of arbitration centers for the settlement of commercial disputes.
    • Assisting in the development and preparation of vocational and technical training for employees of the Arab Chambers by organizing appropriate training programs.
    • Strengthening the relation between the Arab business community and its counterpart in many countries of the world and in order to reach its goal, the Union establishes joint Arab-Foreign chambers and some Arab chambers in foreign countries. The council shall prepare the regulations and principles for the establishment and management of these chambers to guarantee its efficiency within the framework of the legislations administering them.
    • Submit projects to the bilateral and multilateral funding bodies and donors that are in line with the objectives of the Union to serve its members and this could happen either individually or in partnership with the member chambers who want that and meet the conditions of the financing body and able to submit the required papers on time.
    • Reinforcement relations and links with the Arab countries, the League of the Arab States, the Economic Cooperation Councils, the Arab economic Unity, organizations, federations, joint Arab economic companies, Arab economic funds and institutions and inviting them to attend its conferences, it also exchange information and economic studies and suggestions required by the Arab economy as a group and the need of each of the Arab countries in addition to unifying and coordinating their efforts to reach the goals of the Union.
