The crisis of the "emerging corona" virus has cast a shadow over the private sector in the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and has had negative effects on all workers, individuals, and institutions.

By virtue of the fact that this sector consists in the vast majority of micro, small and medium enterprises and owners of free professions and many groups outside the framework of structured work such as vegetable, fruit and fish sellers, taxi and truck drivers, the Owners of refrigerators and small shops, the private sector in most of its categories has become the weakest link in the face of the consequences of the epidemic.

In this context, a study on the repercussions of the Coronavirus on the Gulf private sector was issued by the General Secretariat of the Federation of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, which included an overview of the economic effects of coronavirus globally. The study also included an overview of the Gulf economies, in addition to the repercussions of the outbreak of the Corona epidemic on the Gulf private sector.
