  • Beirut, Lebanon
  • 24 February 2022

On February 24, 2022, the Union of Arab Chambers and Hope MCF are organizing the "Sustainable Corporate Social Responsibility in the Arab World" conference, in presence at the Union's headquarters in Beirut and virtually via the ClinGroup platform.

The organization of the conference comes within the framework of countries’ endeavors to achieve the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals, as professional competence in social responsibility, transparency and efficiency in NGOs are of critical importance for growth. Noting that since 2014, Hope MCF, along with the United Nations Development Program, the Lebanese Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Interior Affairs, has started the process of qualifying NGOs to ensure their transparency and increase the visibility of credible organizations.

At the conference, an award will be presented within the framework of achieving a sustainable and transparent society that serves the goals of sustainable development. WANGO (the World Association of Non-Governmental Organizations with a global interest in the credibility of NGOs and support for sustainable development), provided its input and support for the initiative, the conference and the award.

Conference Objectives:

1. Develop cooperation between stakeholders interested in social responsibility in the Arab region
