President of UAC Discusses Strengthening the Cooperation with the Federation of UAE Chambers

The Secretary General of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the United Arab Emirates, Hamid Mohammed Bin Salem, received Mr. Mohamad Abdo Saeed, the President of the Union of Arab Chambers and Mrs. Reem Siam, the President of the Egyptian Economic Council for Businesswomen in the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce in the presence of Mrs. Farida Al Awadhi, the President of the UAE Businesswomen Council, and its members Fatima Al Awadhi, Halima Al Sayegh and Fattim Al Shehhi.

During the meeting, they discussed ways of activating the cooperation between the Arab Chambers to reinforce the role of the Union and strengthen it in the Arab economic and social life, especially the businesswomen sector.

Bin Salem confirmed the support of the UAE chambers and private sector to the Union of Arab Chambers and the Egyptian Economic Council for Businesswomen in the Egyptian Chambers of Commerce to achieve the common economic interests, Mr. Bin Salem stressed the importance of enhancing the role of the Union of Arab Chambers to strengthen the presence of the Arab private sector and its active participation in the formulation of the Arab economic policies.
