Al Mazrui Discusses Ways to Enhance Trade Relations with Brazil

The President of the Union of Arab Chambers, the President of the Federation of the UAE Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Muhammad Al Mazrui, discussed with a Brazilian delegation headed by the Governor of the Brazilian state of Bahia, Rui Costa dos Santos, topics of common interest and ways to enhance trade relations between each of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Brazil.

Al Mazrui briefed the delegation on the importance of the role played by the Abu Dhabi Chamber in the process of business development and support for the private sector, confirming the investment environment of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and how it has become one of the global destinations that attract business, which provides wide areas to facilitate its construction and growth, emphasizing that the Chamber is keen to strengthen the business relations with the Republic of Brazil, which is one of the most important trading partners and international investors in it.

On the other hand, the Brazilian Bahia delegation expressed its aspiration to consolidate commercial cooperation relations with the business environment in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, build partnerships and conclude agreements that serve the common goals of both sides, noting that the state of Bahia constitutes a major link in the structural integration of the Brazilian economy at the local and international levels. He also stressed the importance of promoting public and private investment in infrastructure and logistics services and providing opportunities for foreign investment, especially with the UAE, which has strong friendship relations with the Republic of Brazil, which herald the flourishing of trade exchange opportunities.
