The World Bank expects the Jordanian economy to witness a slight recovery in medium-term growth, despite pressures from continued uncertainty in the region and the impact of adjustment measures that have reduced the domestic and external aggregate demand.
According to the World Bank's Economic Survey on the Jordanian Economy, although key indicators predict weak performance for the 2018 outlook, the momentum created by the new Jordanian government initiatives may help boost confidence.
According to the report, the main challenge facing Jordan is to revive the economy in the context of an unfavorable external environment.
