Saud al-Breer Meets with Sudanese Prime Minister

"The economic decisions taken by the state are positive measures for the private sector and for the national economy, which will stimulate the business sectors and motivate and support the economy," said Saud al-Breer the President of the General Union of Sudanese Employers.

Al-Breer headed a delegation from the GUSE during a visit to Dr. Mohamed Tahir Ayala the Sudanese PM, where he pointed out that "among the most important decisions taken, one of them is the agreement to reduce the value of the customs dollar by 20 percent, from 18 to 15 pounds, and to reduce the value of the floors in the port by 50%, in addition to exempting all production inputs and personal containers from the import model."

He also explained that "these positive measures and decisions are praised and supported by the private sector as they contribute to address many of the problems and support the national economy as well as its positive impact on a number of productive sectors and trade movement and facilitate the flow of goods and work freely and reduce the cost of production."

Al-Breer said that the delegation of the Union along with the Prime Minister, discussed a number of pressing economic issues and the atmosphere was positive and carried a lot of positions in support of the national economy, "stressing" the readiness of the sector to fully cooperate to contribute to the success of the plans and programs of the Council of Ministers in the economic field."
