Qatar Chamber revealed that Qatar tops a number of global economic and development indicators, registering the highest level of women's participation in the workforce by 58.3%, according to a recent study issued by the Arab Monetary Fund, followed by Kuwait with 49.3%.

According to the Chamber's monthly economic bulletin, Qatar ranked first in the index of economic freedom, as it ranked 31 globally among the 186 countries included in the index, which assesses the extent of intellectual and economic freedom. The State of Qatar topped the list of Arab countries by ranking first and ranked 27 globally in the ranking of the Global Peace Index for 2020 issued by the "Institute for Economics and Peace" in Australia. The Chamber indicated that this classification reflects the position that Qatar has assumed at the world level in the field of security, which came in line with Qatar's vision (2030) and its strategy to enhance security and safety at the country level in a manner that enhances the investment climate in it.

According to the Chamber, China is the first commercial partner of the State of Qatar at the level of total foreign trade (exports and imports) during the month of April, as the total volume of trade exchange between the two countries amounted to (2.8) billion Qatari riyals, which represents 14.5% of the total foreign trade volume of Qatar during the month of April 2020.
