S&P Global predicted Qatar's real GDP growth in 2023 by 2.3 percent, supported by the hydrocarbon sector.

The IEA said Qatar's general budget between 2023 and 2026 is likely to record an average surplus of 4 percent of GDP, assuming an average oil price between $82 and $85 per barrel until 2026.

It is noteworthy that Qatar's budget recorded a fiscal surplus of 29.7 billion riyals at the end of the first half of this year, equivalent to 102.5 percent, of the expected surplus in the 2023 budget in full.
