Kuwait Chamber: $ 1.8 Billion Trade Exchange between Kuwait and Japan

A Japanese economic delegation headed by the Executive Director of the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME ), Takashi Omote, visited the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the presence of the Ambassador of Japan to Kuwait, Yasunari Moreno.

The members of the Kuwait Chamber praised the strong friendly relations between Kuwait and Japan, and stressed the importance of the role of the private sector in the fields of economic development and the development of trade cooperation through attracting investment projects and establishing successful partnerships between the Kuwaiti and Japanese sides.

Japan is one of the most important trading partners of the State of Kuwait, with a trade exchange volume of $ 1.8 billion during the year 2022, excluding oil products and its derivatives.

The members of the Chamber affirmed that they are fully prepared to provide all its services to strengthen economic relations between the two friendly countries.
