The President of the Federation of Syrian Chambers of Commerce, Alaa Omar Al-Ali, called on businessmen, traders, industrialists, investors, economists, and all interested parties, both inside and outside Syria, to visit the Damascus International Fair, which begins the day after tomorrow, Wednesday, August 27, 2025, and runs until September 5. The event will feature the participation of more than 225 foreign companies and about 725 Arab and local companies, spread over an exhibition space of 95,000 square meters.

Al-Ali noted that the participation of hundreds of local and foreign companies in the 62nd edition of the fair underscores the importance of this event in shaping the features of a prosperous Syria we all aspire to, as it is an exceptional milestone in the history of the national economy. This year’s edition comes at a new stage in which Syrians are striving to rebuild their homeland and institutions on foundations of freedom, justice, and development.

He explained that this fair, one of the oldest and most prestigious economic events in the Middle East and Arab region, represents a leading platform to showcase Syria’s production, trade, and investment capabilities, as well as to exchange knowledge and trade among participants, and to open doors for cooperation with partners from brotherly and friendly countries. It stands as a witness to a new start for the national economy.
