Oman’s Ministry of Economy revealed that the country’s average real GDP growth during the period 2021–2024 reached 3.4 percent at constant prices, close to the 10th Five-Year Plan target of 3.5 percent.

According to the ministry, average real growth in non-oil activities stood at 4.1 percent, surpassing the plan’s target of 3.5 percent. Meanwhile, oil-related activities grew by only 2.3 percent, below the 3.5 percent target, due to reduced crude oil production in coordination with OPEC+.

Public debt declined to 14.1 billion Omani rials (around $36.6 billion), representing 34.1 percent of GDP by the end of the first half of 2025.
