China's National Bureau of Statistics revealed that China's consumer price index, a key measure of inflation, rose 0.2 percent year-on-year in November. The figure was down from the 0.3 percent increase recorded in October, largely due to a slowdown in food prices.

The core consumer price index, which excludes food and energy prices, rose 0.3 percent in November year-on-year and above 0.2 percent in October. The consumer price index fell month-on-month by 0.6 percent in November, following a 0.3 percent decline in October.
