Morocco welcomed 13.5 million tourists during the first eight months of this year, marking an increase of 15 percent compared to 2024.
According to the Moroccan Ministry of Tourism and Handicrafts, the summer of 2025 saw exceptional performance, with 4.6 million tourists arriving in July and August—an increase of 6 percent compared to 2024. The ministry highlighted that the summer season of 2025 was marked by the strong return of Moroccans living abroad, numbering 3 million, a 13 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
Tourism revenues in Morocco rose by 13 percent during the first seven months of this year, reaching 67 billion dirhams.
