World Bank Raises Turkey’s Growth Forecast to 3.5 Percent

The World Bank raised its forecast for Turkey’s economic growth from 3.1 percent to 3.5 percent for this year, and from 3.6 percent to 3.7 percent for the next year.

The World Bank issued a report on the economies of Europe and Central Asia, East Asia and the Pacific, South Asia, the Middle East and North Africa, Afghanistan and Pakistan, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Latin America and the Caribbean. The report indicated that the Turkish economy is expected to grow by 3.5 percent this year, 3.7 percent in 2026, and 4.4 percent in 2027.
