Tayeb Shabab Appointed New President of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

In the Algerian capital, Tayeb Shabab was appointed the new president of the Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, succeeding former president Kamal Hammani. The ceremony was attended by Ahmad Megrani, representative of the Minister of Domestic Trade and Regulation of the National Market, as well as the chamber’s Director General Ismail Chakeeb Gouidri, representatives from the Ministry of Domestic Trade, and presidents of local chambers of commerce and industry.

Tayeb Shabab expressed his gratitude for being reappointed to the position, pledging to continue strengthening the chamber’s role as a key partner in supporting the national economy. He emphasized its mission as a platform for dialogue and coordination among economic stakeholders to develop the business environment and open new investment horizons, in line with the state’s vision of building a diversified and sustainable economy.

He also highlighted the importance of empowering local chamber presidents to ensure effective representation of economic institutions across various sectors.
