Qatar’s Foreign Reserves Surge to $71.8 Billion

Qatar Central Bank’s foreign currency reserves and liquidity saw a notable increase in October, supported by surging global gold prices.

The foreign reserves jumped 2.85% year-on-year to around 261.4 billion Qatari riyals ($71.8 billion), with official gold reserves rising 3.4% to approximately $54.55 billion, the highest level ever recorded.

According to Qatar Central Bank data, official international reserves at the end of last month increased by 3.41%, or 6.667 billion riyals, reaching 201.825 billion riyals, compared with the same period in 2024.
