The foreign assets of the UAE Central Bank touch 600 billion dirhams

The total foreign assets of the UAE Central Bank touched 600 billion dirhams at the end of last October. According to the latest statistics issued by the UAE Central Bank, the foreign assets of the Central Bank increased on a monthly basis by 2.38 percent from 583.84 billion dirhams during September to 597.72 billion dirhams at the end of October 2023.

The foreign assets of the Central Bank increased during the 10 months of this year by 21.03 percent, or the equivalent of 103.84 billion dirhams, compared to about 493.85 billion dirhams at the end of December 2022, while they increased on an annual basis by 40.3 percent compared to 426.03 billion dirhams during October 2022, an increase equivalent to About 171.69 billion dirhams within 12 months.
