The Arab Monetary Fund projected that Qatar’s inflation rate will stabilize at 1.3 percent by the end of this year. This comes after the government adopted a comprehensive package of policies and measures in 2025 to curb inflation, making it the lowest in the Gulf region, with an average of 1.4 percent.

According to the Arab Monetary Fund’s “Arab Economic Outlook 2025” report, Qatar’s inflation rate continued to decline during 2023 and 2024, recording 3.13 percent compared to 5 percent in 2022.

Expectations point to a further decrease, reaching 1.3 percent by the end of the year. Data from the National Planning Council shows a decline in prices across seven main groups in the second quarter of 2025, against increases in four groups and stability in one group.
