UAE Tops the Arab World and Advances 3 Places in Talent Competitiveness

The UAE retained its leadership at the regional level, and advanced 3 places globally to 22nd place, according to the tenth annual edition of the Global Talent Competitiveness Index 2023, issued by INSEAD. In the general index rankings, which included 134 countries, the UAE scored 62.56 points in 22nd place, ahead of the Czech Republic, Korea, Japan, and Portugal. Switzerland emerged as a leading country in talent development and competitiveness, holding on to the first place in the world for ten consecutive years with 78.96 points, followed by Singapore and the United States in second and third places, and Denmark, the Netherlands, Finland, Norway, Australia, Sweden and the United Kingdom completed the ranking of the top ten.

As for the Arab world, the UAE is still the first in terms of talent competitiveness and attracting brilliant minds, followed by Qatar in second place (35th globally) with 54.42 points, then Bahrain third (44th globally) with 50.44 points, Saudi Arabia fourth (48th globally) with 49.86 points, Oman fifth (59th globally) with 45.82 points, Kuwait came in sixth place (63rd globally) with 44.83 points, Jordan ranked seventh (70th globally), Lebanon ranked eighth (77th globally), Egypt ninth (88th globally), and Tunisia tenth ( 92nd globally).
