The annual inflation rate in the Eurozone recorded 2 percent in July 2025, remaining stable compared to June, after being 2.6 percent a year earlier. In the European Union as a whole, the annual inflation rate rose to 2.4 percent in July, compared to 2.3 percent in June, after being 2.8 percent a year earlier.
According to figures released by Eurostat, the lowest annual inflation rates were recorded in Cyprus (0.1 percent), France (0.9 percent), and Ireland (1.6 percent). Romania (6.6 percent), Estonia (5.6 percent), and Slovakia (4.6 percent) recorded the highest inflation rates.
Compared to June, annual inflation declined in eight member states, remained stable in six, and increased in 13.
