Kuwait’s Budget Records Deficit of 1.05 Billion Dinars for FY 2024–2025

Kuwait’s final financial statement for fiscal year 2024/2025 showed a 10 percent increase in state revenues from taxes and fees, reaching 606.48 million dinars compared to 550.91 million in the previous fiscal year, in addition to 1.975 billion dinars in revenues from goods and services.

Total revenues reached 22.057 billion dinars, compared to expenditures of 23.112 billion dinars, resulting in an actual deficit of 1.055 billion dinars, which was covered by the General Reserve Fund.

Oil revenues fell by 10.08 percent, equivalent to 2.17 billion dinars, bringing them down to 19.357 billion dinars compared to 21.527 billion in the previous fiscal year.
