Oil prices stabilized on Monday as investors assessed the impact of Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian refineries, which could disrupt its crude oil and fuel exports, amid anticipation of growing U.S. demand for fuel.

Brent crude futures added three cents to $67.02 a barrel. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures rose 8 cents to $62.77 a barrel. The contracts had earlier gained more than 1 percent as Ukraine escalated its attacks on Russian oil infrastructure, including the largest oil export terminal in Primorsk port and the Kirishinefteorgsintez refinery, one of Russia’s two largest refineries.
