Egypt received net foreign direct investment inflows from Arab countries totaling $4.17 billion during the first nine months of the last fiscal year.
Data from the Central Bank of Egypt showed that Arab investments accounted for 42% of total foreign direct investments coming into Egypt during the first nine months of the last fiscal year, which ended in March, amounting to about $9.8 billion.
Arab direct investments in Egypt grew significantly in the third quarter of the fiscal year, reaching $1.55 billion compared to $1.14 billion in the second quarter.
